The Soundcraft Multi Digital Card lets to expand the capabilities of your Si series digital mixing console with USB, FireWire and ADAT connectivity. With this Multi Digital Card installed in your Si Expression or other compatible mixer, you’ll get up to 32 channels of high-quality digital audio to and from your computer via high-speed USB 2.0 or FireWire. The pair of ADAT optical connections, for Multi Digital Card expansion also lets you connect studio-grade preamps and standalone recording equipment to your console. The Si range of consoles features a versatile 128 channel expansion bus offering 64 discrete additional input sources and 64 additional output patches that may be used in parallel to fan-out to multiple destinations. Routing from the cards to the processing channels and from channels or buses to the option card buses is achieved via the ‘Patching’ functionality.
